My first job...
Greetings ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the official launch of Playstation 3 in Singapore =x
Ok, i am one of game marshals for this event. U may be thinking " wah so good, can play PS3 still got money to earn. I oso wan!!! " IF thats wad u think, u are wrong! In fact for the 10 working hours, i only get to play the most 2 hours and the rest of the time is spent doing all the shit work (sai gang), from packing goodie bags to moving heavy things such as television and boxes.
As game marshals, our job is to teach the public to play a certain game (ridge racer 7 for my booth) so that they can take part in the racing competition to win home a brand new PS3.
Sadly, my first job wasn't faultless zzz...
A guy ask me where to buy the playstation 3 ( well tts wad i heard) so i direct him to the sales counter outside. After a while, he came back and told me "the counter lady told me tt the media people are at the 2nd floor. U dunno wad u are talking about". I was like "wth, i never even heard u saying stuffs about the media. If u had told me about the media, i would have directed u to the 2nd floor".
2nd mistake... damn paiseh sia haha
Someone ask me how to get to the 2nd floor, so without releasing i was holding a pen in my hand, i pointed the direction where the stair is to the person. Guess wad, my pen hit someone standing beside me zzz. Then the person stared at me... i apologise quite a few times to the person but he just continue staring at me, giving me those "I wont forgive u" type of look =.="
And for the finale. The person responsible for giving us our pay went off without paying us. OH YEA, like kena con sia. Free labour. WTH. Brand new experience, never come across anything like this b4, even in tv drama. But then the person called me this morning telling me that he will mail me the money. So at least he remembered, haha.
Oh ya, wanna guess my payrate? $5? $6? $7?
All wrong!!! The Answer is .............
$8/hour!!!!
Wahhhhhh so good. Can play still can get $8 per hour. Actually i oso think so too =x
